About Jena
I partner with founders, executives, and leadership teams to build organizations that are both human and high-performing.
My work focuses on strengthening leadership effectiveness, improving accountability and follow-through, and building the leadership infrastructure needed for sustainable growth.
Before stepping fully into coaching and advisory work, I spent my career leading the People function inside startups, scaleups, and mission-driven organizations. I built People systems from the ground up, coached leaders through growth and change, and partnered closely with founders and executives to align culture, talent, and business strategy.
Over time, I saw the same pattern again and again: many leadership breakdowns are not caused by a lack of effort, but by unclear expectations, weak agreements, avoided conversations, and accountability that is either too soft or too harsh to work.
That is the space I now focus on most through executive coaching, team development, facilitation, and advisory support.
My approach is grounded in the Language of Accountability, a practical framework to help leaders create stronger conversations, healthier commitments, and better follow-through. At its core is the Commitment Cycle, which helps teams understand where breakdowns occur and how to repair them before they become larger cultural problems.
My background as a senior People executive allows me to bring both coaching depth and operational realism. I understand the pressures leaders face and focus on practical leadership growth that translates into stronger decisions, healthier teams, and more reliable execution.
