Welcome to Superwoman's Toolbox
My favorite tools help you take care of and get in tune with your body, mind and spirit. They can get you moving or bring you to stillness, introduce you to new practices or remind you of old favorites.
If this is a whole new world, the list may seem a little overwhelming. Know this: you cannot mess this up.
Start by downloading the files. Then just take a quick look at them, either on the screen or printed out (while I love trees, I still often print the page, particularly if it's a new topic I'm trying to wrap my brain around). Explore the territory much as you would a new place - get familiar with what's in front of you.
Then jump in - try one. It doesn't matter where you start, or if you even get through the whole document the first time. Just begin. And be patient with yourself, especially with the things that are new or different.
There is no right or wrong except for pain, and that includes pain in your mind and your spirit :) If you find yourself struggling or forcing, just take a few deep breaths and remind yourself that this is an exploration, a journey, not a race to the finish line. Set it aside for awhile if you need a break.
My wish for you is that you'll offer yourself the same love and compassion you'd offer a good friend trying something new. Watch yourself with curiosity and compassion as you try on new ideas, especially if (like me) you sometimes judge yourself harshly or expect to master things quickly .
